How Digital Learning and AI Can Bring Nigeria’s Out-of-School Children Back
At a recent media dialogue in Osun, UNICEF and key education partners explored how digital learning and artificial intelligence can help Nigeria tackle its out-of-school children crisis. UNICEF Education Specialist Harold Kpojime highlighted the need for reliable internet, digital devices and trained facilitators. He stressed that technology can reach learners outside formal classrooms and cited the Nigeria Learning Passport as a vital resource. UNICEF Communications Officer Blessing Ejiofor urged the media to track solutions as well as problems. She called for reporting that follows developments, highlights what works and connects the dots between AI, skills development and the future of work.
