IK Osakioduwa Explains Why He Sat Out AMVCA 2024 Hosting Duties

Nigerian presenter IK Osakioduwa has finally addressed his absence from the 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. Speaking on The Morayo Show, he clarified that no dispute with Africa Magic was involved. IK, who has hosted the awards since 2013, said he follows his destiny and respects his principles. “I don’t endorse alcohol or tobacco brands,” he explained. “I couldn’t have delivered what they needed under those conditions.” This year’s event was fronted by comedian Bovi Ugboma and actress Nomzamo Mbatha. IK stressed his enduring love for Africa Magic and hinted he will return when timing and values align.
