Over 21,000 Teachers Apply for 1,000 Rural Posts in Nasarawa State
The Nasarawa SUBEB reports that 21,452 TRCN-certified candidates vied for its 1,000 rural teaching positions. The recruitment opened on March 27 and was set to close on April 3 but has been extended to April 10. The extension responds to feedback from qualified applicants who faced challenges completing their submissions in the initial timeframe. Eligible candidates are urged to finalise their applications before the new deadline. Successful applicants will be deployed strictly to rural schools. Those unwilling to work in remote areas are advised to reconsider applying. SUBEB assures a transparent, merit-based selection process. Backgrounds and connections will not influence shortlisting.
