From Passive Faith to Kingdom Dominion: Mobilising Nigeria’s Ekklesia

From Passive Faith to Kingdom Dominion: Mobilising Nigeria’s Ekklesia — 1 of 4
1 / 4

The blueprint for victory is embedded in Scripture. Stories like Nehemiah, Gideon and David show us how God grants triumph. Christ’s intervention on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1–6) reveals His heart to protect His people. We must move from passivity to responsibility. Prayer and support for security agencies are vital, but wisdom, vigilance and lawful self-defence may be necessary if the state fails us. Believers in public office must carry Christ’s values into governance and civic engagement. Ekklesia is more than a religious institution. It is God’s legislative assembly on earth, called to bring justice, peace and righteous leadership. The Great Commission shapes disciples to govern with holiness, unity and servant leadership. Let us unite beyond denominations and step into our divine mandate.

Begin by organising small prayer groups in each community, then set clear goals for action based on scriptural examples like David's and Gideon's courage.
