Tinubu Swears in Dr. Darma as Housing Minister, Calls for Competent Service

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Dr. Muttaqha Darma as his new Minister of Housing and Urban Development following Senate confirmation. Tinubu praised Darma’s rich track record and urged him to apply his expertise to drive national progress during this challenging period. Darma replaces Ahmed Dangiwa, who recently resigned from the post. A development expert from Katsina State, Dr. Darma holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Industrial Engineering. He has led the Petroleum Technology Development Fund and served as commissioner for works, housing and transport in Katsina.
