16 Youths Detained by Kano Hisbah for Alleged Immorality

The Kano State Hisbah Board recently detained 16 individuals in separate raids across the state on suspicion of immoral behaviour. Operations at El-Kanemy Suite, BUK Road, Danbare and Layin Shisha led to the arrest of six men and ten women. Deputy Commander-General Mujahiddeen Aminuddeen said all suspects are first-time offenders. They are undergoing counselling, and their relatives will be invited to support their reintegration. Each has signed an undertaking to refrain from similar activities. The board pledged to monitor those released and remains committed to enforcing Sharia regulations and upholding moral standards in the state.
