Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi has been re-elected unopposed as Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association at the elective congress held on June 30, 2026. He secured all 23 votes from accredited delegates to claim a second term, while Johnson Ifejika defeated incumbent Sir Victor Aniekwena in the vice-chairman race by 19 votes to 4. Other board members elected include Obi Moneke and Ralph Chidozie George for Anambra Central; Michael Igbeke and Emmanuel Azubuike Okeke for Anambra North; and Prince Michael Mbaezue, Donatus Ezeokafor, and Pastor Ijeoma Nwosu for Anambra South.
