Oyo Police Bust Forgery Syndicate, Arrest Nine with Fake Stamps and Certificates
Officers from the Oyo State Police Command have dismantled a criminal network forging official documents, stamps and certificates. Acting on intelligence received on April 9, the team raided a hideout in Ibadan’s Ogunpa area and arrested nine suspects aged between 31 and 64. Searches at their operational bases uncovered fake police character certificates, Nigeria Police Force CID stamps, state ministry seals, commercial bank stamps and various private organization seals. DSP Alayande Olayinka confirmed that all suspects have confessed and are cooperating with ongoing investigations.
