No More Excuses: CEFSAN Demands Tinubu Government Rescue Kidnapped Students

No More Excuses: CEFSAN Demands Tinubu Government Rescue Kidnapped Students

The Centre for Human Rights and Social Advancement (CEFSAN) has condemned the federal government for failing to safeguard children from terrorist and kidnapping attacks. Reacting to the abductions of over 30 students and teachers in Oyo State and the disappearance of dozens more in Borno, CEFSAN highlights a distressing pattern—from Chibok to Kankara and beyond—that has left more than 600 schoolchildren and staff in captivity despite massive security budgets. The group urges security agencies to intensify rescue operations with full transparency, hold responsible officials accountable, and conduct a comprehensive review of school protection measures. “Condolences and excuses are no longer enough. Nigerians demand real results. The abducted children must be rescued now,” CEFSAN insists.
