Ogun Police Disrupt Cult Initiation in Isara-Remo, Arrest 30 Suspects

Ogun State Police Command arrested 30 suspected cultists during a coordinated operation in the Isara-Remo area. The raid followed credible intelligence about an unlawful gathering in an uncompleted building on June 16. Officers from the Violent Crime Response Unit and Isara Division dispersed the ceremony and recovered four abandoned vehicles, a jackknife, a drum, a rattle and several bottles suspected to contain alcohol. The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Abeokuta for further investigation and will face court charges. The Commissioner of Police commended the operatives for their professionalism and urged residents to report suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
