Football Legend David Beckham to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

David Beckham will be honoured with the 2,849th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Sports Entertainment category on June 12 at 10am PT. The award will be presented by Tom Cruise and Victoria Beckham. The honour recognises Beckham’s role in raising soccer’s profile in America ahead of the next FIFA World Cup. During his playing career, Beckham starred for Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain. He retired in 2013 and now co-owns Inter Miami CF. He has also launched Studio 99 and made cameos in films and TV specials.
