1 / 4

The Electronic Education Initiative trained staff at the College of Education Waka-Biu under the TETFund 2025 Zonal Intervention Programme in partnership with the National Commission for Colleges of Education. Participants learned to use interactive boards and the E-DON Sim Pro 3D simulation software. Hands-on sessions and live demonstrations helped lecturers master these modern tools. Deputy Provost Dr. Mercy Wakawa praised the on-site training and its potential to simplify lessons and boost collaboration with other institutions. She called for longer, ongoing sessions and mentioned plans for a formal MoU with E-DON. ICT Director Malam Mohammed Idris welcomed the initiative, noting its importance for a college operating in a challenging security environment. He said the new technology would improve curriculum delivery and support students on digital platforms.
