A 60-year-old man died on Tuesday, July 21, in a hotel room in Dutse, Jigawa State. He was with a 20-year-old woman when he suddenly experienced a medical emergency. The Jigawa State Police Command announced they have opened an investigation. Officers from the Yalwawa Division responded to a distress call and rushed him to Dutse General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Police examined the room and seized food, drinks, a suspected sexual enhancement substance, and other personal items for analysis. The man’s body was released to his family for burial at their request. The 20-year-old woman is cooperating with investigators. The police urged the public to avoid spreading rumors as the probe continues professionally and impartially.
