Kebbi Police Nab Four in N8.6M Hajj Seat Scam

Kebbi State police have arrested four suspects over a fraudulent Hajj seat scheme involving N8.6 million. The Police PRO said Aminu Hassan Zauro and three accomplices collected funds from victims under the promise of securing Hajj slots. Investigators found no records of the intended pilgrims with the official welfare agency. Authorities recovered fake Hajj materials, medical cards and a mobile phone used in the scam. The commissioner warned the public to deal only with accredited officials to avoid such fraud. Eight suspects remain at large. All those arrested will face prosecution.
