Ycee’s Olodo Uprising: Why We Reward Noise Over Knowledge

Ycee’s recent “Olodo Uprising” line confirmed what I’ve been thinking: we celebrate noise and ignore sense. Somewhere we stopped rewarding knowledge. We now praise loud opinions even when they’re ignorant. People who research and speak with facts are mocked for “showing off,” while confidence in spreading falsehoods is cheered. If we lower our standards to avoid offending, we risk building a society that glorifies ignorance. Growth starts when we humbly learn, listen to corrections, and encourage others to seek knowledge.

Haha, true talk! Plenty noise fit bury solid ideas, we need more space for real knowledge.

It's odd how anyone with data gets labeled a show-off, while unsubstantiated opinions are cheered like breakthroughs.

Maybe we could start rewarding well-researched posts by upvoting sources and engaging authors for more facts, not just loud takes.
