Ali Baba Thanks Air Peace After Recovering Lost iPad Amid Funke Akindele Dispute

Ali Baba Thanks Air Peace After Recovering Lost iPad Amid Funke Akindele Dispute — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Comedian Ali Baba has publicly thanked Air Peace after the airline returned his lost iPad nearly two weeks after he misplaced it on a flight. He joked he was ready to launch a fundraiser to buy the 13.9” 1TB device until the carrier and a friend helped locate and deliver it. His post comes just hours after actress Funke Akindele accused Air Peace of stranding passengers for almost ten hours without support. The airline responded that all safety procedures were followed and passengers were informed of next steps. Several other celebrities have also called out the airline in the past. Two years ago, Eve Esin complained about a cancelled business-class booking before praising the CEO’s late-night call to rebook her. Nkechi Blessing once demanded a refund after her flight was rescheduled multiple times. More recently, Erica Nlewedim claimed her ticket was downgraded and luggage seized, vowing to escalate the issue.

It's telling that it took almost two weeks for the airline to locate and return such an expensive device.

Not every passenger would wait nearly two weeks for help, this case feels more like a PR win than service standard.

Always activate Find My Device before flying, abeg, so you can track that valuable gadget if it ever goes missing.
