LASU Invites Applications for 10th Vice-Chancellor Position

Lagos State University has announced that Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello’s five-year tenure will end in August 2026. The governing council is inviting full professors with doctoral degrees and a strong research record to apply for the role. Candidates must be under 65 years old at resumption and submit physical applications within six weeks. The next Vice-Chancellor will oversee a multi-campus structure in Ojo, Epe and Ikeja, chair the Senate and Congregation, manage academic accreditation, maintain discipline and harness funding from local and international bodies. Proven high-level administrative experience is essential. Interested scholars should deliver fifteen hard copies of their CV, credentials and a visionary statement (1,000–5,000 words), along with contact details for three referees, directly to the Registrar. Remuneration will be determined by the Governing Council.
