Obi, Kwankwaso Quit ADC Over Judicial ‘Trap’ and Alleged Judge Gifts — Yaro
The Abuja coordinator of the Obi–Kwankwaso Movement, Mallam Jabir Ibrahim Yaro, explains why Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso abandoned the ADC. He blames internal party crises, external interference and a recent Supreme Court ruling he calls a “trap.” Yaro alleges a minister controls the Federal High Court and that judges have received houses, land and cars. He also accuses an individual within the party of undermining promised transparent primaries. He insists Obi’s camp will pursue the presidency, not a vice-presidential role, and says it’s Southern Nigeria’s turn. Both leaders have joined the NDC and may run on a joint ticket in 2027.
