Called to Be Holy: Reflections on 1 Peter 1:13-25

With attentive minds, set your hope on the grace to be revealed when Christ returns. As obedient children, turn from past desires and reflect God’s holiness in every action. Remember that our Father judges impartially, so live here as strangers with reverent fear. We were not redeemed with silver or gold but by the precious blood of Christ—chosen before creation and revealed for our sake. Through Him, our faith and hope lie in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him. Purified by obedience to truth, we now love one another deeply, from the heart. Though people’s glory fades like grass and flowers, the word of the Lord endures forever.
