Tolu Arokodare Rejects Turkish Move, Aims for Top Five European League
Nigeria striker Tolu Arokodare has dismissed interest from Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor, according to reports. The 25-year-old is poised to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer after their Premier League relegation. Trabzonspor formally bid for Arokodare, but he insists his next destination must be in one of Europe’s top five competitions. Italian outfit Fiorentina also tabled a loan offer, which Wolves turned down for falling below their valuation. Under contract with Wolves until 2029—with an option to extend by a year—Arokodare remains focused on securing a permanent move to a leading European club.
