She Asked for My Number but Refused to Pay for My Shopping

I was at a mall when a woman made eye contact and complimented my outfit and fragrance. She then asked for my number so we could talk later. I was surprised she never offered to pay for my shopping. I felt disrespected and walked away. To me, that lack of intention was unacceptable. Some women expect things without showing commitment. I won’t settle for less. I even canceled a date when she refused to cover my haircut and book my ride. That was a clear red flag. I refuse to settle for broke girls.

Have you ever had someone praise your style, ask for your number, then bail on paying when the shopping bill arrived?

Are you sure she understood the payment arrangement before you went shopping together?

Seems a bit odd, but maybe she thought this was just friendly advice, not a shopping date.

It seems odd that she would compliment your fragrance and outfit but then show no commitment by refusing to share the bill.

I no understand why you dey expect her to pay just because she asked for your number after praising you.

Maybe next time clarify expectations before accepting an invitation to shop together, so both sides know who's paying.
