Lord Over Time: Open Heavens Devotional for June 22, 2026

Theme: Lord Over Time Memory verse: “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me will live, even though he dies.” (John 11:25) In John 2:1–11, Jesus attends a wedding in Cana. When the hosts run out of wine, he asks servants to fill six stone jars with water. That water becomes the finest wine, showing that God can bring future blessings into present moments. Later, in John 11, Jesus raises Lazarus after four days in the tomb. Even a hopeless situation becomes an opportunity to display God’s power. No circumstance is beyond his timing. Key point: God is Master of time. Trust him when delays threaten to steal your hope. If you believe, you will see his glory.

It's interesting they highlight the wedding miracle, but is connecting water to wine really about our spiritual timing or something else?

Try memorizing John 11:25 and reflect on trusting God's timing each morning for a week, then journal any changes you notice.
