Pastor Oritsejafor Slams Tinubu’s Leadership, Urges Him to Abandon 2027 Re-Election Bid
Former CAN president Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor says President Bola Tinubu has failed Nigerians and should not seek a second term in 2027. Speaking on a recent news programme, he argued that the current administration has done more harm than good and set the country back rather than move it forward. Oritsejafor stopped short of calling for Tinubu’s resignation but insisted the president must not “dream of coming back to continue this same mess.” He said Tinubu should either step aside or look for leaders with the capacity to bring real change. The clergyman also denounced Nigeria’s electoral process as “fake” and likened it to a “selection” rather than a genuine vote. He added that public officials should be barred from seeking medical treatment abroad or sending their children to foreign schools to align their lives with those of ordinary citizens.
