Itele Celebrates New Lekki Mansion as Cute Abiola Teases Funding Source
Nollywood star Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, is marking a major milestone after acquiring a multimillion-naira mansion in Lekki Phase 1. He shared photos on Instagram, thanking God and celebrating “every step” of his journey. His wife had earlier announced the new home, expressing gratitude for the dream he carried in his heart. Messages of congratulations flooded in from colleagues like Destiny Etiko, Gabriel Afolayan, Woli Arole and many more. Hours later, actor Cute Abiola jokingly claimed that a woman actually funded the purchase, despite Itele’s impressive 150 million YouTube views. In 2024, Itele already rewarded himself with a new car and house after his film Koleoso became the first Nollywood title to hit 100 million YouTube views. Reflecting on his rise, Itele recalled selling jewellery in a Bauchi village and credited mentors like Papa T and Femi Adebayo for their support. He urged fans to stay resilient as he continues setting records in the industry.
