Ebonyi Pupils Receive Uniforms, Books and Desks from Adding Beauty to Life Foundation

Ebonyi Pupils Receive Uniforms, Books and Desks from Adding Beauty to Life Foundation — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Adding Beauty to Life Foundation recently visited Amachara Agbaja Community Primary School in Izzi LGA, Ebonyi. They donated school uniforms to 145 indigent pupils and provided books and 30 desks for the school’s total population of 268. Founder Kessey Anyigor, a former pupil of the same school, said the drive aims to motivate children to take their studies seriously. He urged well-meaning Nigerians to support human capital development alongside government efforts. The foundation plans to return weekly or biweekly to teach and monitor the pupils at no cost. Headmaster Nwaga Felix praised the intervention, noting the school’s dilapidated condition and calling on government authorities to step up support for rural public schools. One beneficiary, Favor Nwamini, thanked the foundation and promised to work harder in her studies in appreciation of the support.

Did they pick that school based on enrollment numbers or maybe local recommendations?

Noting 30 desks shared among 268 pupils, it might still feel crowded during lessons despite this generous support.

Desks and uniforms help, but investing in teacher training might yield more lasting educational benefits than one-time donations.

Perhaps the foundation could schedule regular follow-ups at the school to assess needs and ensure the resources are effectively used over time.
