Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray Vie for Wolves’ Tolu Arokodare on Loan

Turkish powerhouses Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are eyeing a loan move for Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur. Konur noted that Fenerbahçe are closely monitoring the Nigerian forward, with Galatasaray also keen to secure his services. Besiktas have reportedly joined the pursuit, making the 25-year-old one of the hottest prospects in the Turkish market. Arokodare, who joined Wolves from Belgian side Genk last summer, has six goals and two assists in 32 appearances this season. With Wolves facing the threat of relegation and the striker under contract until 2029, a temporary switch could prove appealing if the right offer comes.

Not convinced his style fits both teams—would he lead the line or play off another striker?

You're right he'd add physical threat in the box, though I'm not convinced either side really needs another aerial target this season.

Both Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray seem to prefer a loan deal first, which suggests they're cautious about his long-term fit.

A loan move alone won't guarantee he'll see more pitch time, especially given the crowded forward lines at both clubs.

Any loan agreement should include clear performance targets and assurances of regular playing minutes to truly benefit Arokodare's development.
