Habibat Jinad Laments She Can’t Master ‘Eye Service’: ‘No Fake Zone’

Nollywood actress Habibat Jinad has admitted she doesn’t know how to fake life or do ‘eye service’ like some of her colleagues. On Instagram, she said it’s not in her blood to pretend. “You dey for me, I dey for you,” she declared. “People who can’t stand on their own na them dey do oju aiye pass.” Her confession echoes other recent calls for authenticity in the industry. Last year, Eyinju Eledumare and Damola Olatunji spoke out on hypocrisy among peers. Ruth Eze lamented fake love, Kevin Ikeduba slammed insincere behaviour, and music stars Cynthia Morgan and Terry G decried the lack of support during their hardest times.

I doubt she'll lose fans over honesty; honest vibes usually spark respect. Colleagues might just learn to appreciate real talk.

I understand your concern, but insisting on authenticity might actually earn her more respect than cause friction.

It's interesting that claiming no fake zone might isolate her from the industry norms that reward strategic publicity.

I get wanting to stay real, but maybe some level of image management is necessary in Nollywood's competitive scene.

If she values authenticity, she could set clear boundaries with PR teams and focus on projects that align with her true personality.
