I met President Bola Tinubu three times to seek reconciliation within the PDP after Governor Wike’s fallout threatened our unity. Tinubu was open to restoring harmony in the party. I even swallowed my pride and visited Wike at his Abuja residence. He told me he felt like a conqueror who had secured all the key positions in the PDP. I believed the party convention might be postponed so we could withdraw our court cases and negotiate. Yet neither the presidency nor Wike returned my calls for further discussion.
