Tolu Arokodare described his first appearance for the Super Eagles as a surreal honour, saying it felt like meeting Cristiano Ronaldo or playing for Real Madrid. The 25-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers striker said he got goosebumps when he saw the Nigerian jersey and focused on giving his best despite criticism and occasional racial abuse. Arokodare has scored three goals in 27 games for Wolves and believes his journey with Nigeria’s national team is only just beginning.
