The Bible encourages believers to stand firm because the coming of the Lord is near. After Jesus rose from the dead, angels declared that He was no longer in the tomb. At His ascension, they also promised that He would return in the same manner He went into heaven. Scripture reminds us that the exact time is known only to the Father. Yet Christ’s promise remains: “Surely I come quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
