FG Debunks Fake ‘Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council’ Appointment

FG Debunks Fake ‘Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council’ Appointment

The Federal Government has dismissed claims about Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi’s appointment to a non-existent “Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.” The Office of the Chief of Staff clarified that no such body exists under President Tinubu’s administration. Diplomatic missions, financial institutions, development organisations and security agencies have been warned to disregard any correspondence from the alleged council. The government emphasised that the appointment is fraudulent and carries no official standing. Signed by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, the statement highlights the risk of individuals impersonating government structures to mislead both Nigerians and international partners.
