Fernandez ‘I Was Excited’ When Rangers Came Calling

Emmanuel Fernandez opened up about his move to Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. The 24-year-old left Peterborough United, where he spent four seasons, to join the Light Blues last summer. He told Rangers TV that when he heard of the interest in May 2025, he immediately wanted the deal to go through. “Some things take longer than expected,” he said, “but once I heard about it, I was excited and you can’t really say no to a club of this size.” So far, Fernandez has netted five times in 21 league appearances for Rangers this season.

I'd suggest following his training updates to gauge how quickly he adapts to the Premiership's pace and physicality.
