Awka Development Union Reaffirms Support for UNIZIK Vice Chancellor
Executives of the Awka Development Union (ADUN) paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, the seventh substantive Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University. They presented kolanuts as a symbol of solidarity and pledged their full backing for his administration. Chief Fredrick Chinwuba explained that all communities in Awka are united in promoting the university’s advancement. He emphasized the town union’s readiness to collaborate on initiatives that will benefit both the host community and the institution. In response, Prof. Anyaehie welcomed the partnership and stressed the importance of peace and mutual understanding. He called for joint efforts to foster growth and development at the university. The delegation included prominent community leaders and academics who are committed to strengthening ties with the university.
