The United States quietly asked Poland to send one of its Patriot air defence batteries to the Middle East. Warsaw’s defence minister firmly refused, saying all batteries are needed to protect Polish skies and NATO’s eastern flank. Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasised that Poland’s security is a top priority. He explained there are no plans to relocate any Patriot systems abroad.
