A Reminder to Direct Our Praise to God

Just as lubricant belongs inside an engine rather than on the body of a car, praise should be directed to God rather than ourselves. When we give God the praise, our hearts can be filled with joy. As Isaiah 12:3 says, “With joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” May we receive grace to give God acceptable praise, in Jesus’ name.
