No More HND-to-BSc Top-Up: KWASU Ends Conversion Programme from 2025/26

Kwara State University will discontinue its HND conversion (top-up) programme starting in the 2025/2026 academic session. The move follows new guidelines issued by the National Universities Commission on non-traditional degree pathways. Current students on the top-up programme will be allowed to finish under existing arrangements. No new admissions will be accepted once the present cycle closes. Many HND holders who relied on this route to upgrade to a bachelor’s degree will now need to consider alternative pathways.
