Lagos CP Launches Statewide Proactive Policing and Intelligence Drive

The Lagos Commissioner of Police, Fatai Tijani, has ordered all Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Mobile Force and tactical commanders to step up proactive policing, intelligence gathering and vigilance across the state. He urged senior officers to supervise their teams closely, respond swiftly to security threats and uphold the highest standards of professionalism at all times. In a boost to capacity, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund donated 200 bulletproof helmets and 200 vests. The Trust Fund’s executive secretary pledged continued support for protecting lives and property. Tijani thanked the organisation and appealed to residents to stay alert and report suspicious activity via the command’s emergency lines.
