Nigerian international Peter Olayinka has won APOEL’s Goal of the Month award for his sublime finish in the Cypriot Cup victory over Apollon Limassol. The 29-year-old forward struck in consecutive matches during the month, including the 3-3 draw with Pafos FC, to earn the individual accolade. Olayinka took to social media to share his delight at the honour, writing “Happy to win the Goal of the Month.” Since joining APOEL on a free transfer earlier this year, he has scored twice in 10 league appearances for the 29-time Cypriot champions.
