Nia Long Files Restraining Order Against Stalker Claiming Romantic Tie

Nia Long has asked a Los Angeles court for a temporary restraining order against Carrie McDonald. She says McDonald believes they are in a romantic relationship and has been stalking her. Nia claims the woman has harassed her for over two years. McDonald allegedly sent unwanted cards, flowers and gifts, then showed up at Nia’s home twice. Officers arrested McDonald after she rang the doorbell on March 21. According to reports, McDonald first arrived at Nia’s house in the middle of the night earlier this year and received a warning from police. Nia is seeking protection for herself, her two children and her mother. A judge denied the order and scheduled a hearing for April.
