Seeking Advice: Transition from Botany to Nursing MSc in Australia
I graduated with a Botany degree in Nigeria and I’m applying for postgraduate Nursing programs in Australia. I was recently rejected by Flinders University and learned that a Botany background can be a barrier. Someone suggested completing a bridging program or a related master’s first, then transferring into Nursing after a semester. Another idea is to finish the bridging course, work for a while in Australia, then apply to Nursing. Has anyone followed a similar path? Which bridging programs helped you move from a non-nursing science background into Nursing? I’d appreciate any insights or experiences on this process in Australia.
