Can Peter Obi Effectively Tackle Nigeria’s Insecurity Crisis?
Recent regimes have struggled to contain rising crime, terrorism and banditry across Nigeria. After criticizing former President Jonathan and witnessing similar failures under Presidents Buhari and Tinubu, I wonder if Peter Obi can turn the tide. The scale of insecurity demands decisive action and strong leadership. I’m inclined to support Obi, but I have doubts about his willingness to confront the powerful networks behind these threats. If previous presidents couldn’t stem the violence despite promises, how will he succeed? I believe Obi could drive progress in education and the economy. However, his ability to dismantle terrorist cells, bandit operations and cult gangs remains uncertain. What strategies might he deploy to secure our communities?
