Saliba Vows to End Arsenal’s Run of Second-Place Finishes This Season

Saliba Vows to End Arsenal’s Run of Second-Place Finishes This Season

William Saliba has made it clear he wants Arsenal to stop settling for runners-up spots and finally win silverware. The centre-back says the squad must stay calm and give everything on the pitch as they chase both the Premier League and Champions League titles. He urged supporters, players and staff to push right to the final whistle. Saliba admitted he has finished second in every full season since joining the club and called on his team-mates to change that record. "We need to die on the pitch. It's now or never," he said. The French defender’s words underline the hunger in Mikel Arteta’s side as they aim to end a 22-year wait for a league title and deliver trophies for the first time in over two decades.
