WAFCON 2026: Malawi Coach Vows to Fight for Result Against Super Falcons

Malawi head coach Lovemore Fazili says his side will approach Tuesday’s 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Group C opener against Nigeria with confidence and determination. The Scorchers are making their WAFCON debut and face the defending champions, the Super Falcons, at Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. Fazili acknowledged Nigeria’s record as 10-time African champions but said his players are prepared to compete for a positive result.
