Kano Partners FG’s Renewed Hope Agenda to Boost Affordable Housing for Low-Income Residents
The Kano State Ministry of Housing Development says it is working closely with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope initiative to expand access to decent homes for low-income earners. At the Renewed Hope Housing PPP Summit 2.0 in Abuja, the Commissioner explained the state is simplifying application processes and welcoming proposals from development partners under public–private partnerships. He announced approval for an initial 480-unit Gida-Gida Mega City project along Maiduguri Road, complete with modern amenities to serve local communities. The ministry praised federal commitment to narrowing Nigeria’s housing deficit and said forthcoming projects will prioritize affordability and quality.
