Why Your JAMB Result Shows “No Result Yet” for Underage Candidates
The JAMB board has received inquiries from parents about candidates seeing “No Result Yet” when checking UTME results. This status appears for underage candidates whose results are withheld until they meet age requirements. Regulations state that candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026 to register and sit the UTME. Underage candidates can still be considered if they score 320 or above in the UTME and achieve at least 80% in the subsequent screening. Only those underage candidates who meet these criteria will be shortlisted for further screening and may be eligible for admission under the exceptional candidate provision. All other underage results remain unreleased for now.
