Buruk Confident Osimhen Will Stay Amid €120m Bid Rumours

Buruk Confident Osimhen Will Stay Amid €120m Bid Rumours

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has dismissed reports of a €120 million offer from Atletico Madrid for Victor Osimhen. Buruk says the Turkish champions have not received any such proposal and expects the Nigerian striker to continue his career in Istanbul. Last summer’s €75 million move from Napoli has paid dividends, as Osimhen scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 32 appearances. Galatasaray are now poised to demand at least double that fee if a genuine bid arrives.

What do you make of Buruk's confidence that Osimhen will remain despite Madrid's reported €120m interest?

I share your view. Buruk rarely blows smoke; he must be sure Osimhen stays put.

It's curious how the same outlets circulated claims about a €75m move last summer yet now deny any €120m bid.

I'm not convinced that no bid arrived; clubs often keep negotiations private until they suit public relations.

Fans should wait for official club statements before weighing transfer rumours, and focus on Osimhen's performance on the pitch.
