Former Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo has died at age 40 after collapsing during a casual training match in Kaduna’s Ungwan Yelwa area. Witnesses report he completed a full first half without any issues. Minutes into the second half, he slumped and was rushed to a nearby medical facility but was pronounced dead on arrival. Eneramo enjoyed a successful club career with Espérance de Tunis before moving on to Turkish sides Beşiktaş, Sivasspor and İstanbul Başakşehir. He earned 10 caps and scored three goals for the Super Eagles, including a debut strike in a 2010 World Cup qualifier against Tunisia.
