Herdsman Label: Fulani Man Refused Bus Ride at Lagos Motor Park

Herdsman Label: Fulani Man Refused Bus Ride at Lagos Motor Park

A young Fulani traveller heading to Calabar was turned away from two Lagos transport operators despite paying his fare. Fellow passengers protested boarding with a “Fulani herdsman” and the company refunded his ticket. He first tried GUO Transport but there was no Calabar service. At GIGM, he secured a seat but commuters again refused to travel with him, citing security concerns and ethnic profiling amid national herdsmen tensions. Visibly distressed, he recorded the ordeal and warned that “we Fulani are in trouble in this world.”
