Align Your Heart with Heavenly Realities

Love not the world or its pleasures, for if you cling to worldly desires, the love of the Father cannot dwell in you (1 John 2:15). The “world” here refers not to people or the earth, but to a system driven by lust, pride, and opposition to God’s will. Set your affection on Christ and the things above (Colossians 3:1–2). Worldliness begins in the heart and draws you away from your divine purpose—just as Demas’ love for this present world led him to abandon his ministry (2 Timothy 4:10). Remember, you are crucified to the world and live by the cross of Jesus (Galatians 6:14). Let God’s Word guide your thoughts and actions.
