John Stones Confirms Manchester City Exit After Trophy-Laden Decade

John Stones Confirms Manchester City Exit After Trophy-Laden Decade

England defender John Stones has announced he will leave Manchester City at the end of the season as a free agent. Injuries restricted him to just four Premier League starts this term, but he departs as one of Pep Guardiola’s most influential signings. Stones joined City from Everton in 2016 for £47.5m. Over ten years at the Etihad, he lifted 19 major trophies, including six league titles, the Champions League, two FA Cups and five League Cups, and played a key role in the 2022/23 treble.

I get the excitement, but I don't think he'll rush into another top club immediately; he might want to pause first.
